Electrical gremlins
I changed out the heater core on Thursday. What a PIA working by yourself. The job was easy. Installing the bolts back through the firewall was a problem. I had to loosen up the A/C box to get everythign aligned. No water leaks except for the over flow tank. It must have a small crack near the one of the bolts.
Anyway, the blower motor was working properly prior to installation of the heater core. Now nothing!! I don't think I pulled any wires while remove the core box. Any ideas on where to start? I checked the relay connections. I didn't use a volt meter to verify power. I'll do that this week. I may charge up the A/C system this week, if I can get custom made hoses. However, I need the blower motor to work. Heater works great even with a fan!! |

Re: Electrical gremlins
The blower fan may be stuck (dis-lodged piece of crap, or something).

Re: Electrical gremlins
Someone suggested that too. I'm going to use a jumper directly to the fan. If the fan makes noise or kicks on, then there is probably a bad ground somewhere.
