Console pics for Cstanley
I am finished with your console and it turned out very nice. This is the first time I have ever done this color and my wife said who in the he-- wanted one in that color , here are some pics for you.

Red71cheyenne, sorry I never answered your question. I clean the trim rings up and if the are rusted and pitted to bad I replace them with one from a donor console. These are not being reproduced by anyone. I had a guy that would rechrome them for me for 28.00 per. but after the first batch he raised his price to 50.00 per ring. I sure would like to find someone to chrome them for me. I could send them about 15 or 20 now.

I've sand blasted the ring and the trim around the ashtray on the seat belt holder style, sand blast with a very fine media then clear coat ... comes out OK, no where near as nice as chrome, but when there's no parts to use, you gotta do something.
