Re: flywheel

You'll need a flexplate to replace your flywheel. Sorry don't know the size offhand, someone will chime in I'm sure...

Re: flywheel

Not a flywheel. With an auto tranny you need a flexplate: http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...=KeywordSearch

Re: flywheel

count the number of teeth on your flywheel and that will be the number of teeth you'll need for your flexplate.

Yes, if you use the correct numbered teeth as stated above.

Re: flywheel

Since the stick has a bell housing where the starter bolts up with three bolts to the bell housing, a different starter will be needed. On the automatics the starter bolts to the block using two bolts. You will want the starter to match the flex plate.

What do you mean NOT? He's exactly right. The starters are different between a 3 speed manual and TH350.

You will need a 168 tooth 14" flexplate and matching starter. Just get the parts store to look up a stater for your model truck with a TH350 and you'll be good to go.

Re: flywheel

Forgot about the starter being a stick. Yes an auto starter will be needed. Either way, just match the starter bendix head for either a 168 tooth one or the 153 tooth one.

Re: flywheel

yes this http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductD...pe=267&PTSet=A is listed as a flywheel but looks the same as a flexplate http://store.summitracing.com/partde...I&autoview=sku I think the aps jus has them listed the same, cause its listed for auto tranny.
