'81 Chevy, sb400, 350th trani, stock rearend (.308 probably), spray in bedliner, John Deere Blitz Black Paint. I went with this paint because I want to go with gloss later and I didn't want to throw on the old chalky primer so I went with the $35 per gallon blitz black that should be as tough as it gets. It's a work in progress. I still have a tailgate band, new lights, and maybe some 20" rims to put on as well as a custom interior which includes a center console with built in laptop and subwoofer, bucket seats, brushed aluminum trim, etc.

that almost looks like metallic black it is cool looking
I also like what you did with the headlight surrounds ... what does the motor and interior look like? and i really like the rims

Very nice! That is the color i want to do on a truck to pull the BBQ with.

Is that also JD paint on the grille? Looks sharp! I have been wanting to do that to my 87 grille for a long time but kept chickening out.

Blitz black is like a satin black.. Only downfall to using it is: its like a real pain in the ass to remove when you actually want a shinny paint job.. its real tough ****..lol
