Re: check out my new project k-20 body swap

Yeah!!!I got my project running and driving! It runs pretty good and stops pretty good It's got rear discs and I was/am skeptical about stuff like that. Now one day this week I can take it and get my 2 flowmasters and some exhaust ran so it won't sound like a "pulpwood truck" anymore.and I can get after it with some rubbing compound and wax. Thanks Mike

I've got a set of the reproduction wood grain mouldings that I bought for a previous project that got traded off. After I get it rubbed back to a shine I'll put the new mouldings on it.Thanks Mike

Re: check out my new project k-20 body swap

I got the exhaust ran on it this week the gentleman who did it did me a great job ran it above the crossmember so you can't even see it from the side.He also installed a crossover pipe and some turn downs just past the rear axle. The two chamber flowmasters sound good even though it is kinda quiet.I also got the seat cover from Frank (PICKMUP) Now I just need to find a good seat to cover, and get the elbow grease out and polish the paint

Re: check out my new project k-20 body swap

looks good, I like the stock look

you could always put in an add-a-leaf or xero rate spring in the back to raise it an inch or two....

Re: check out my new project k-20 body swap

These pics are after adding 1" lift blocks on the rear and adding all the woodgrain mouldings.I have never really been a big fan of the bronze color but to me this truck just clicks and looks great!

love those 5 slots! I need to find something like that for when my 33x12.50x15s wear out, and go with a narrower tire/wheel combo.

Good time then to be looking over the data books so maybe I can be pouring over them someday.... Still would like to get one. I really like the bronze color and it looks great on that K20. Mark
