Which Doors seals are best

I know there is a bunch of experience on this board. Which door seals work out the best the original clip type, soft seals. glue it. What did you guys use and what are the pros and cons for the different types. Any help appreciated.

Save your lunch money and go with Steele Rubber, you wont be disappointed in the finished product, buy the whole kit.

Re: Which Doors seals are best

I've tried both (LMC & Steele Rubber) put the door seal kit side by side & its a no brainer. I'm not knocking LMC, I've bought alot from them & have no issues with them, but if you want the best rubber, buy from the company that sells only rubber.

Re: Which Doors seals are best

Does this just apply to the door seals, or do the recomendations also apply to window channels, vent widow seals, whiskers, windshield seals etc.? I also need all of this for my 51.

Re: Which Doors seals are best

bretcopsey, my comment only applies to the door rubber kit, consisting of the seal that glues on door, bulb seal that slides into the channel around door opening (on cab), & the blade rubber seals that run fwd / aft along the bottom of cab floor along door. I am not sure if Steele Rubber sells the remaining parts you mention.
