Is there anyone here that is a distributor for KP Components? Just wanted to see if you are a site member would you get a discount on their 6 link set-up? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks Michael.

I am a KP dealer... but if you bought it from me you would be paying sales tax.

Give Clint at KP a call... I am pretty sure they offer a site "supporting member" discount.

Thanks Nathan, I want to put the 6 link on my 86 GMC I wanted to ask you a quick question. I have a 4 link right now on the truck but i cut off the leaf spring mount off of the rear end, so now when i go to install the 6 link i need the leaf spring mount back on but i dont know if i weld them back on at zero degrees or do i have to mount them at a certain down/up degrees for the pinion angle of the rear end and drive shaft? Any help would be greatly appreciated, by the way i hooked up with Dinor this last weekend and looked at all of the awesome work you have done on his trucks, thanks Michael Hill.

The KP kit is designed to bolt on to the factory axle and uses the perch to locate it and keep the proper geometry designed into the kit. You will need to install the new perches in the same location and at the same angle as the factory did. I am not sure off the top of my head what that spec would be. I am sure if you contacted Clint at KP he would know the answer... he used to troll the board, but maybe he's been busy lately>
