Hookin up?
What does it take to hook up an aftermarket head unit in my 68'? The dash has already been cut by the PO so please dont get on my case about it.

Re: Hookin up?
Not much.. just constant power, accesory power, ground. antenna, and wire up your speakers.

Re: Hookin up?
If anyone gives you crap about cutting sheet metal, tell them to go get bent. Many of these guys are the same ones who love notched frames and shaved handles.

Re: Hookin up?
How dare you buy a truck with the cut up dash.
What is the world coming to? I expect you to give that truck to me and go buy an unmolested truck. I say good day to you sir. G35 Mike is right. Heck if you can't find the accessories wire in the truck, you can connect that wire on the head unit to constant as well. Just remember to turn off your stereo. |

Re: Hookin up?
Barrel connectors, a crimper/splicer, and zip ties or electrical tape.

Re: Hookin up?
I'm not real up to date on my electrical connectors, could you give me a pic or something as to what that barrel connector looks like?
