SWB 400 on Craigs List
Not mine, but in my local area. I called the guy, but he sounds a little wishywashy if it is the original engine. He also said there are a few rust holes around the windshield. Seems like it might be worth taking a look at. What do you guys think?

Guess I won't be taking a look at it. The "Boss" just said absolutely not. Good luck to someone else.

I think he's proud of it.... I could be wrong, but I don't think it's worth $5500!
But I do like this comment...... "AFTER THIS TRUCK IS ALL DONE IT WILL BE WORTH ABOUT $ 30,000 "

I think it will go quick for that price if it is what he says it is. It did make my skin crawl when he mentioned Barrett Jackson in our conversation. Too bad you can't sell a truck for what it might be worth some day to some one some where some how. LOL

I know its not a realative example but I got a 71 Cheyenne20 LWB with a 402/th400 and it was all original even with the rear disc brake sticker still on the tailgate for $100. It had been sitting for ever in a field and was rusty, but it was well worth it I thougt. Last edited by BurnoutNova; 05-08-2008 at 09:58 AM. |
