is that pipe rusting through anywhere? Are the ends thin?

No rust through anywhere, the ends seem solid. There is a notch on one end about 1/16" deep and 1/8" long. I tried taking a closeup of it but the flash obcures it. Tomorrow it may brighten up around here and I can try a picture in natural light.
