Anyone have pics of a blue highlander seat?

Hey guys,

Anyone have a picture of a blue highlander seat? I'm thinking of ordering the plaid and vinyl from SMS fabrics in Oregon, but want to make sure I get the right stuff.
Thanks in advance...

And how many Highlanders are out there? I've only seen a couple.

Perfect pictures. I love this site for things like this. I needed to know if the vinyl part was white or blue. Now I know and can order the right materials.
Thank you very much...

I may be able to make two. There may be a discount if I have them order enough for two. I'll check on the exact total.

And Longhorn Man- This is the one I've got in my truck. It looks like it might be the gray you were thinking of.

Seriously! - I'd need the full bench seat cover for a 72. PM me with some details when you get started.

Re: Anyone have pics of a blue highlander seat?

Luvlegs- I'll do just that when I get the details. I actually am lucky enough to have two highlanders myself. Both need seats. One gray and one blue. So maybe I'll have him make 3 and get an even better deal.

The hard part for me is finding a nice seat to start with. This gray one is really good. but the blue truck has S-10 buckets so I need to start from scratch.

Do you mind if I ask what SMS is charging for that material? I had the interior in my 60 Biscayne wagon done at SMS, that do great work!!

Re: Anyone have pics of a blue highlander seat?

SMS fabrics is pretty quick on giving quotes over the phone, so you could call them and get the exact info you need. But they quoted me $89 per square yard for the correct plaid pattern fabric. They said 2 yards is too much, but one may not make it. So 1 1/2 yards should be about right.

The special white vinyl is a Walrus Grain type and they have to do a Custom embossing for the Highlander seat. he said he has all the correct pattern dies, but the wait time is 4 weeks on the embossing. The vinyl wasn't bad but the embossing was like $100.

Total amount was somewhere around $350. (I forget the exact amount)

But the fabric can ship asap. An important consideration is this is just material rolled up in a tube. You still need to have it sewed up into a seat cover, and installed on your bench.

I ordered a houndstooth material from them once, and they shipped it the same day.

Good luck!
