Re: Another breakthrough in PATINAFICATION!
Looks good and glad to see you're keeping it in check.
You don't happen to work around pools do you?

In fact, this has been one of my ideas for the truck. I thought about putting my business name and logo on there, but I'm sure everybody won't "get" the patina'd, weathered, rusty POS look of a shop truck!

Re: Another breakthrough in PATINAFICATION!
I`ve had guys tell me they scrub the lettering with Ajax or Comet and that weathers it real good.
I`m not sure about the GM white lettering getting thin and letting moisture in even over body color. It seems odd.I know the white accent paint gets thin. But,I don`t see lettering jobs get rusty, just GM letters.

Re: Another breakthrough in PATINAFICATION!
Thank you, sir.
Hey 67, looks great. I would definetly do that for your pool business. I think "shop" trucks are cool, if there is shop that it's actually used at.

Update!!!
UPDATE!
I was getting some pics for a member and walked past the doors that painted back in the junk yard and decided to take a few pics. They have have laying back there about 9 months and the patinafication is moving along nicely. The letters are rusting slighty from the underneath like I though they would. I thought I'd share. P.S. I never did get around to painting letters on my blue truck!
