Fuel pump to carb fuel Line for 327??

I started to replace the fuel pump in my truck the other day and was removing the fuel line flare fitting at the carb and the fitting broke perfectly in half. The fuel line was in bad shape anyways from the PO so I'm going to replace it. Anyone know where I can find this fuel line for cheap? Is it the same as the 350? I'm doing a LS1 motor swap soon (already have the donor engine/tranny) so I don't want to sink a bunch of money into this engine, just want to get it running so I can drive it for a few weeks. The fuel line feeds into the front side of the carb. Anyone have one laying around?

Goe get a piece of 3/8 brake line and bent it up and around up to the carb then use rubber gasline to the carb. Use the other end of the brake line into the carb. Do you kinda get the picture??? I have done this numerous times. Cheap and easy fix.

I think I follow, but shouldn't it be all hard line on the pressure side of the fuel pump or does it not matter?

Mahans method is ok. You can buy them made up at LMC but they are a little high.

I was hoping to find one for much cheaper than LMC sells it.

If you have any junk yards with old stuff, you may get lucky.
A tubing bender is pretty cheap, and nice to have on hand, then a long section of 3/8 brake line from napa (measure your old one) and then try to bend it to the same shape. (buy 2 pieces of line, you can return the one if you get it right the first time) It's actually pretty easy.

Re: Fuel pump to carb fuel Line for 327??

Thanks for the info, if I can't find one on here or locally in the next few days I'll just bend one up

Re: Fuel pump to carb fuel Line for 327??

i replaced a fuel pump on my truck...i went and bought the brake line like that one guy said..then autozone and a handheld bender thing that works great to bend that line...its a tool you borrow from them....i know all the guys from autozone so they let me use it for free..you might have to make a refundable deposit on it...

Yup, bend it yourself. It's way easier than it looks.
