console question

I don't know alot about consoles since all my trucks never had one. I am thinking about using this one in my 65. Is their anything missing besides the ashtray on top? or did it just come black as in picture

Re: console question

That's correct for the "newer" version of the console. The older ones had the ashtray and 2 slots on the sides for the seatbelt ends to tuck into.

Re: console question

This one came out of my Dad's 79 (bought new), I don't recall an ash tray ever being in the center so I don't think you're missing anything.

When taking it apart be carefull not to break the chrome trim ring tabs. I was lucky and none snapped.
