It says to drill the 1/8" hole but which hole in the front window channel is that supposed to line up with???

And John Fabris said something about the door stops getting in the way, can someone explain?? Im lost...and I really wanna get these windows in!

Re: BROTHER's ONE PIECE WINDOW QUESTION

Download the instructions from Brothers Web site. It completely expains the install. I had and have no issues at all with mine. The only thing I did different was I used windsheild glue instead of the rubber matting to secure the window the regulator, made sure everything was in the channel, rolled it up tight and let it dry. I think this is better way to go.

Re: BROTHER's ONE PIECE WINDOW QUESTION

Ok now Im really frustrated...I got the window in and I jacked up the front window channel but that's not the BAD part.....I have another to replace it..

my frustration comes when I roll my window up, say...half way, it's EXTREMELY loose and just rattles around....

It's nice and tight in the FULL UP and FULL DOWN position but crappy anywhere in between..

is this a error on my part or is that just something I have to deal with?

If its something I have to deal with, Im going back to the vent windows...then that brings on another problem, the door is now cut up where the vent window is..

hmmmm????

Re: BROTHER's ONE PIECE WINDOW QUESTION

I've heard thats a problem with one piece window conversion. All the way up or down is how it needs to stay.

Re: BROTHER's ONE PIECE WINDOW QUESTION

The single piece side window kits will rattle around when the window isn't all the way up or all the way down. It is the nature of the beast. When you remove the vent window, you also remove the chanel that holds the stock glass steady when it is only part way rolled down. The single piece side window kits count on the squeegy and fuzzies to hold the glass steady and it just isn't sufficiant. The problem is even worce with the reproduction doors, because the window gap it too wide. WES
