battery strip options
My 67 has the positive junction block that mounts to the passenger fender (+ battery to block) from here the power is diributed. My question is, are any of you guys running a better power distribution strip or block? I also have tied in the 16 inch fan, (got rid of the fan that hooks up the waterpump) juiced up headlight system, (the relay kit with HID lights) and soon to have an amp hookup for the deck but the amp will be wired directly to the battery. (also running HEI) I`ve been looking for a good power ditribution strip so I dont overload this 40+ year old single block. ANy idears guys?

Re: battery strip options
If you're talking about barrier strips, I believe Radio Shack has them.

Re: battery strip options
O Rielly's sells a 30 Amp mini panel that you connect to the pos pig tail. $10 I think. Use that and replace the lead of single point next to your battery. It holds 6 - max 30 amp fuses gives you an option.

Re: battery strip options
I used the 5 lug voltage block out of a 90's TBI truck. They're easy to find at the junkyard and cheap. Just look on the pass firewall under the plastic cover that has all the wires running out from under it.

Re: battery strip options
If you go to a boat supply place, they have power strips you can put in for this. Thats what I put on the 71 so I could run all the TPI, fans and all that crap off of if I needed it. Cheap and non-conductive too.
