EMBLEM---"BOWTIE" Blue vs. Red
Im looking through catalogs for a new grill BOWTIE emblem but the RED says its for the 67-68 and the BLUE (which I want) says its for 71-72...
I have a 67, but I would rather have a BLUE emblem.......does anyone know if they both have the same 2 mounting tabs on the back?? |

The blue one has a plastic lens, wont fit anyway, but the 67-68 are all metal and can be painted any color yoy want.

Re: EMBLEM---"BOWTIE" Blue vs. Red
I wonder if you couldn`t mount a 71/72 grille bowtie on a 67/68.It`s bigger but should have about the same contour.I`d try to hold an old one up and see.Might not look right being bigger.I`ve always thought about taking the blue insert and fitting it to the 67/68 bow.

Re: EMBLEM---"BOWTIE" Blue vs. Red
I have a 67 and like the blue better. I say paint it blue, much easier than modding a newer model to fit.
