has any one susefuly transplanted a tbi motor in a square body? whats in volved in doing so thanx guys

GM did it in 1987, and in 1 tons burb and blazers 87-91.
Fuel sender and return line, change heads and intakes (or redrill, or use an adaptor plate intake to TBI), different distributor, add knock sensor if your block doesn't have one, add ECM and all wiring, O2 sensor, etc.

Mines factory, look at the last line of my siggy. Get yourself an 87 computer, harness, and donor engine, and you've got it made. Or, you can buy a kit from Edelbrock for about $3000.
