Re: Flames

Flames have to be well PLANED on any vehicle. The flames them selves have to look right as well. Alot of flames turn out looking like 1 of 2 things "Mutant sperm" or "spagetti strings".

Even when you get the layout correct and the flames looking right, there is the differnt styles of flames.
Lets say you build a classic old school style truck and put the tribal style flames on it, well they dont match the rest of the truck. Kinda like 3" wide white wall tires on a iroc camaro.

Personaly, I think theres very few 67-72 trucks with flames that look good, but there are a few. Im kinda diggin the black and red 67 above.

Re: Flames

Heres some pictures of my son's toyota that I painted two years ago. I took the pictures tonight so its poor lighting. I tried to stay with my dark scheme to help hide them. Dark paint--tinted windows-- no tire lettering-- and matching paint on the wheels. I used pearl in my clear and kept it simple. If you want i'll get pictures in the sunlight. Dennis
