Clutch Fan Question
I have the fan off of my 250 straight six, replacing the water pump. It has a four blade rigid mounted fan. I have a perfectly good six blade clutch fan that I could put on it when I put it back together. Wouldn't the clutch fan work better? Could I hurt anything, run hotter, or get worse performance from using the clutch fan??

Re: Clutch Fan Question
As long as it isnt a flex fan, bolt it up.
The truck will warm up quicker and idle quieter with the clutch, and may cool a bit better with the added cfmage of the bigger fan. You wont feel the extra drag of it performance wise

Re: Clutch Fan Question
If that clutch fan fits, and works... there is no downside and plenty of upside! Go for it.
