My bed build

I'm still a new guy here but thought I would post some pictures of my bed build. Thanks to all the great info here I figured out what to avoid during the project (which is still ongoing). I decided that since I use my truck as a truck I was going to put a spray in bed liner, I also had all the strips and bolts sprayed with the liner. Now for the pictures.

Here are some of the pictures after the bedliner (it's Line-X if anyone is wondering).

Re: My bed build

I had some issues with water not draining near the cab so I drilled some holes in the wood and used a router to smooth it out. I just got the varnish today and should be able to put it on starting tomorrow. I'll post some more pictures when I get to the next step.

Re: My bed build

nice idea, I always wondered what line-x would look like on the strips. Does it look like it might ship off? That was my worries...also looks like you had the bolts installed in the strips then sprayed?

Mind if I ask what the shop charged you for that spray?

thanks...

The Line-X looks durable although only time will tell. They charged me $400 for the whole thing which I thought was reasonable because when they sprayed the angle strips the guy kicked out the dummy bolts before it dried so the holes weren't covered over.

Sorry for the delay, here are the finished pictures. This is right after I washed it so that's water on the bed.
