Need Advice

Going to check out another truck this week. I guess one ain't enough. The truck is about 40 miles from here. All I know so far is:

1972 GMC long bed (not even sure step or fleet)
402 BB
Automatic Supposedly both original
Has some sort of aftermarket wheels.

They want $2800

It's on a car lot. The guy has one locally and his other lot is where the truck is. He hasn't been to the other lot in a over a week so he doesn't have any more details.

I know finding a BB, if it is original might be worth something.

Anything special to look out for when it comes to the BB. have not dealt with one since 1975.

I got my little cheat sheets to check our VINs and all.

It supposedly is in good body shape, whatever that means in used car salesmen terms.

I'll take some pictures, but it'll be later in the week before I get up there. If the boss doesn't want it coming home, I can give you folks the info on it.

Sounds like a good price if all is true. Do you got the fever Bill? I bought my 69 off of a car lot. Just let the dealer know everything that is wrong, tell him you are a collector and then make a low offer.
