Part name?
Does anyone know what this part is called.
I can't find it in anyone's catalogs. It's the backing piece down at the end of the A-pillar. As you can see mine are pretty bad.

Re: Part name?
Thanks, but no not the A-pillar repair stamped sheet metal panel. This piece goes in behind that and it's thicker metal.

Re: Part name?
I'm going to Carlisle on Saturday.
Guess I'll just bring this with me and see if anyone sells them. Maybe someone will have a used set in better shape than mine.

Re: Part name?
Maybe, but more than likely it is used like a washer.
As everyone probably knows, there are 4 bolts that go through the A-pillar, then the kick panel, then the floor (or inner rocker), then the floor support. This piece was the last thing the bolts went through before the nut on the back. Maybe I don't even need them and just use washers.

Re: Part name?
..and you can't just "fix" it and re-use it?

Re: Part name?
In my assembly manual they show it as part of the hinge pillar which I assume you are calling the A pillar. They don"t have a name attached to it.
