Re: Thanks Everyone this SIte is great!!!
Okay, you want someone to call you a mechanic? After servicing a transmission, pulling/reinstalling an engine? Are you NUTS??? Do you know how many of your friends and extended family members you're going to have to help?
Seriously, I don't know at what point we become "mechanics", although the list of things you did are certainly on the O.J.T. task sheet. I'd give you a call if I needed help or an answer.... Congrats on your build and your engine looks clean. Truck looks clean. "Clean" is a term I picked up in AZ about 40 years ago...but it coulda been an eastern U.S. term that the guys I was stationed with used. But it means that it's nice. Glad you like us.

Re: Thanks Everyone this SIte is great!!!
In current economic times, it truly pays to be your own mechanic and with thousands of assistants (board members) at your fingertips, literally, the knowledge is endless. BTW, great looking motor and congrats on "jumping in and doing the tranny service yourself".
