I really hate this truck now

besides its thirst for gas (6mpg) its rusted through and through power steering leaks a bottle every two days radiator leaks i cant lock the doors oh and both gas tanks leak from the top inner fenders are so reusted that the only thing holing them on is coat hangers and the battery box is gone so coat hangers once again to hold it in place. and the exhuast is cut off right b4 the catalatyc converter there is a bout an inch of a gap so its loud as hell under the cab.

got a roll of duct tape?? we can fix most of that!!
actually the inner fenders and the battery box is available for them through the site vendors, the exhaust can be patched and welded
the leak in the power steering could be simple to fix and cheap and the radiator can be fixed for like $50
these old trucks have their issues but there is nothing else like em on the road i love my truck and while i have several other cars to drive i love the truck and wouldnt get rid of it unless hard pressed to

these old trucks have their issues but there is nothing else like em on the road i love my truck and while i have several other cars to drive i love the truck and wouldnt get rid of it unless hard pressed to

Your right brothers I dont really hate the truck i just hate the problems with it. Thanks for showing me that. If i can build a kegerator then i sure as hell can fix my truck. Ill drink a beer or several for you guys.

This is typical for these year of trucks- rust, rust. Parts are rarer to find. Probably get more selling the truck for metal.

almost everything for these trucks is available aftermarket.. we have several board member vendors who sell the parts and there are several catalogues that sell stuff for them.. virtually all the motor parts are available at the auto parts store and rebuilding a trans or engine is not that expensive...i dont have that much of a problem finding parts for them... just when gas hits $4 a gallon or better i have a hard time finding money to fill the thing up!!
