Blazer seats different?
Hey guys!
So, i recently purchased a '86 blazer. One of the main problems it has, is awful front seats, they dont match, and neither are factory. The driver side back is broken, so it must be propped up with something, and they are both very very dirty. So, my question is, are blazer seats different from say, and 86' truck? It seems like i sit very high in them, it may have something to do with the fact, they must lean up to allow back seat access. I really need new seats, and am wondering if i can get truck seats, or if i must get blazer seats. Maybe i can get truck seats, and use blazer tracks? i have done plenty or motor, tranny, and rearend swaps, but never a seat swap, lol. Thanks guys

Re: Blazer seats different?
you can use truck seats but they make getting in and out of the back an issue and sit about 3 inches lower. i have 2 older sets of blazer seats that would need to be recovered that you can have if you come get them..short 8 hour trip to austin

Re: Blazer seats different?

Re: Blazer seats different?
by drilling a couple of holes, you can also adapt Suburban buckets to the Blazer tracks as well.

Re: Blazer seats different?
So truck seats, with truck tracks are a no go i gather?
What about truck seats, fitted to blazer tracks? is that possible? Thanks for the info so far. 8 hour drive from austin? I made it from west fort worth to here in 10 hours, and was told i hauled all. I think austin would be more like 12 hours from Co. Springs? Im down in fort worth alot, i may just have to take you up on that offer tobi

Re: Blazer seats different?
The truck buckets should bolt to the Blazer brackets. It would be easier to find Suburban buckets since almost all Burbs came with buckets.

Re: Blazer seats different?
Yea I would try to get some more Blazer seats or at lest suburban seats and make them work. It would just make it a lot easyier in my opinion.
