The backspace measurement is the distance from the the inside [back] lip of the rim to mounting surface where it contacts the brack drum/disk. The less backspace "BS" you have on a given wheel then the more rim lip you have on the outside of the wheel. 20x10 wheel with 3" BS has 7" inches of lip...

BigSky71 I think LUV2XCLR8 was asking where to measure axle width. You measure an axle to the mounting surface on the drum (or disc).

Toyo Proxes STs in 315/35 and 255/45. Unfortunately the fronts have just slightly more side wall than the rear; I wanted 245/45s but they don't make them or were unavailable at the time.

Re: Help: 20in wheel BS to get a deep dish look?

Guys I have the original 12 bolt rear end at this time I have 17x9 tt's on the rear and I know for a fact that on the inside of the wheel well the tire has rubbed as I saw the mark before.
So not to beat a dead horse here,

What should be the exact size I can put on my truck with the stock 12 bolt rear?

I am going with a 4-6 suspension from Classic perform. I do love the look of the 18's x 8 up front and 20's x 10 in the rear!!!

The pict below is what I have now but they are going to be taken off once the truck is ready to go on the road again...

thanks in advance!!!!

I sent you another PM. Dont forget to try my specs out....Im telling you they fit perfect. (Im sure if you buy another wheel, you will be able to get very close to what my setup is) (12 bolt rear also) (maybe we can work that price out, and make a deal)
