mystery emblem holes

found these on my fender today. they are below the custom/10 emblem mounting holes. i dont think there is a third one farther down. these two are about 2 3/4" apart ctc. any ideas or pics of what is was or was it a p/o install?

Re: mystery emblem holes

if your emblem said custom/10 its a high posibility that those to holes are for a deluxe emblem, thats my guess on what goes there
i can snap a picture for your comparison tomorow after work

Re: mystery emblem holes

Beneath the Custom/10 emblem, mine had a "350" emblem.

Look at an LMC on-line catalog. It'll show a pix of the emblems.

Re: mystery emblem holes

If your truck was a cheyenne (super) they were probably for the super emblem.

If your truck was a custom (deluxe) they were probably for the duluxe emblem.

I have not owned many 69-70's but I think they had the engine emblem there like chevloray said.

Re: mystery emblem holes

Re: mystery emblem holes

well i dont think it was for the 350 emblem i have that under the marker light, i dont have anything on the spid sticker about cheyenne or custom deluxe, so i am attaching a photo of the sticker, im sure someone knows from that what it should be.

so whats is the difference between cheyenne and
custom/10, super and deluxe?

Re: mystery emblem holes

I think that the 1Z62BH was a Deluxe on your spid label!
