Few Questions for a newbie
Ok, my 69 has a 3 on the three and I want to put a th350 in. What all would I need to mount it up. I plan on using a b&m floor shift so thats no problem. I can make a tranny mount but i was wondering if I would neeed to get a new drive shaft. Also do I want to look for a long or short tail shaft? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also the truck has a sb350 in it.

What all could I steal a drive shaft from, or is it just better to get mine shortened?

Re: Few Questions for a newbie
I shortend mine when I converted. The 3 speed crossmember is a booger to get out. You can also purchase an auto crossmember from someone on the board for pretty cheap. You will also need a trans cooler and lines.

I figured that, I think I might just do a frame mount cooler or just go ahead and put one in front of the radiator. |
