Dodge seats

I am thinking of putting a set of seats that a buddy gave me....has anyone installed some in our trucks? I would like to know if their are any fit issues or what kind of mods do you have to do to get them to fit.Can I use my bench seat frame?..I have not looked at them closely but I think they are a bit longer than my original bench seat...they are like the ones pictured below..i think they came out of a 2005+ ram....please post pics if you have any, thanks

Re: Dodge seats

I measured a set of seats from a dodge ram and they seemed to be a pretty good width, but I don't know for sure. Just be aware your truck will lose a hundred HP when you put dodge seats in it. Just messing with you. I've got a set of dodge buddy buckets going in mine.

Best pass with the old dragtruck:
5.32 @ 131.6 mph 1/8 mile w/ a 1.25 60' Fogger/Plate 2003

Best pass with the street 406 hydraulic roller motor w/ mild plate tuneup
5.93 @ 114 mph 1/8 mile w/ a 1.29 60' 2003 or 2004

Re: Dodge seats

I set a 40/20/40 setup in mine from a 97. The tracks will need some work. The dodge tracks sit to high. I didn't leave them in long enough to decide if the leg room was aduquate.
