so here is where i need help there is a 1972 blazer in a junkyard near me that has V8 mounts and i need to know if they are the same and if they are not will they work Last edited by allthrottle, nobottle; 08-31-2008 at 10:07 PM. |

Re: engine mounts
If your V6 is a 4.3, I am pretty sure they are the same as for a V8. Are you sure your mounts were changed when the V6 was installed?
Hope this helps. Lee

Re: engine mounts
we need way more info... like what kind of six, what style mounts, what kind of stands do you have, 2 wheel drive or 4 X4 ...
Photos would help tons. Also, a blazer in a junk yard is VERY uncommon. Any truck would have the same parts as a blazer. |

Re: engine mounts
sorry took so long to reply but yeah i was told by somebody on this forum that because it sat so far back (the distributer is almost in contact with the fire wall) that they were I-6 mounts , it is a 2 wheel drive, and my mom has the digital camera will post pics as soon as she gets home
if you need more verbal details let my know and i answer Last edited by allthrottle, nobottle; 09-08-2008 at 07:47 PM. |
