ok so here is the plan i just bought a 5 speed trans and since i have to change the drive shaft anyway i figure i might as well change the V6 engine mounts that are currently installed to the correct V8 engine mounts

so here is where i need help
there is a 1972 blazer in a junkyard near me that has V8 mounts and i need to know if they are the same
and if they are not will they work

Re: engine mounts

If your V6 is a 4.3, I am pretty sure they are the same as for a V8. Are you sure your mounts were changed when the V6 was installed?
Hope this helps.

Re: engine mounts

we need way more info... like what kind of six, what style mounts, what kind of stands do you have, 2 wheel drive or 4 X4 ...
Photos would help tons.
Also, a blazer in a junk yard is VERY uncommon. Any truck would have the same parts as a blazer.
