Re: camaro headers

Full length Camaro headers will work and will not hang down near as low. I have Full length Headman Elite Camaro headers on my truck. Here is the link to photos: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=299659

Re: camaro headers

so will they fit an 86 im ready to lower my truck some more but i know that if i dont change my headers they are goign to be banged up in no time. so whats the exact application i have to look for 67-81 camaro full length, thats a good app because it also has the 1 5/8 primaries that our trucks dont have in our applications

That is what I used, 1967-81 Camaro full length 1 5/8 headers. I used the Headman Elites and they fit my 1976 truck, which does not garuntee that they will fit your 1986 truck. Headers will differ from company to company. I think that many people with lowered trucks just go ith the 3/4 length headers, instaed of trail and error with the full length. It is a pain to have to ship back headers that don't fit. I did that once and that was enough for me.
