Blazer rear side panels
Anyone know who sells the interior rear panels and brakes for the rear of the blazer? I have looked at several of the vendors that support this site and can't find any.

Re: Blazer rear side panels
LMC has the rear panels. I don't know what you are looking for as far as rear brakes.

Side panels -
http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=BRPS200 http://www.truckandcarshop.com/trucks60_72/t60_023.html Brakes - What are you looking for? New/repop rear drums can be purchase at just about any auto parts store. There are kits to convert the rear to disc for both 2wd and 4wd trucks. There is a board member in Spokane, WA that works for a company who makes rear 4wd disc conversion kits, but his board name is escaping my memory right now.

Re: Blazer rear side panels
You can have some side panels custom made for less money if you don't care about "stock"

Re: Blazer rear side panels
I don't know if any makes the brackets. I am in need of the strips that go at the top and the panel tucks into. So if you find a place with them please post it.

Re: Blazer rear side panels
I don't believe the brackets or the strips on top of the side panels are reproduced/
I've seen the brackets for sale on the board at reasonable prices. The top chrome strips seem to be harder to come by, but if you become a subscribing member, you can post a "wanted to buy" thread.

Re: Blazer rear side panels
I had the rear panel brackets fabed up, still have a few sets left, do a search in the parts section for: blazer jimmy cst panel brackets : to see them. I also have a few sets of the chrome upper retainers, they will need re-chrome or powdercoat $40 a pair + shipping, can get pics if interested.

Do you have any pics of the panels and brackets installed. I am wondering if the panel bends around near the doors? |

Anyone have any pics of the top chrome strips and the sill plate that holds the front of the bed carpet?

Re: Blazer rear side panels
I got them from Brothers. They're reproductions but look very similar to the original panels.

Re: Blazer rear side panels
tdkosta, what year blazer is the front carpet hold down from? I've only seen that once. I actually have one, came out of a '72, the guy swore it was original. I was not convinced, but since he only wanted $15 for it I grabbed it.
However, I'm still under the impression that the front and back carpet hold downs should be the same. If it is correct though, anyone know if it's '72 only? Or '71-'72? Or?

Re: Blazer rear side panels
Thanks, I saw those a little pricey for me. I found a used set on the parts board and will see if I can recondition them. I redid the center consol that the PO used spray chrome on. It looks good, so I will try it with the panels as well.

Re: Blazer rear side panels
I'm not sure what year it came out of. I bought it from a local board member. The holes seem to line up correctly (coinsidence?) with my '71. It must be one of those rare corvette options I hear about but never find.
