Any1 familiar with dual tank gauge wiring?

I have an '87 Silverado with a 4.3 and dual fuel tanks. The passenger side tank has stopped showing fuel level on the gage, the level reads the same as the driver side when you switch tanks from the driver side to the passenger side. My Haynes manual is no help. Anyone know the fuel gage wiring scheme for this truck? Thanks.

Those rocker switches go out all the time in the dash. I would replace that and go from there...

Crabass. The fuel level senders are wired to the tank switching valve first then up to the guage. ALL the switch does is tell the valve which tank to use. I just replaced mine (both units) and they are available from Chevy. Check all wireing carefully before replacing anything, especially the pink wires from the senders to the valve and back to the wireing harnace. jim

Little stuff left to do is mount winch, wet sand & buff out and build belly pan\running boards. Body work takes lots and LOTS of beer!!!! God, Guts and Guns made America and God, Guts and Guns will preserve it! The worst thing you could do is get into my sights, but that don't matter, you'll never know it, cause you'll never hear the shotJim or Paladin whichever you choose.
