The engine compartment is sweet but, the grill is definitely not my cup of tea. They did a pretty good job of installing the bed though.

Re: 89-91 Burb Grill on a 68 Chevy???

It`s a free world. It would be a boring place if we all had the same truck, and all that. But,it continues to baffle me.What`s with some people`s urge to take one of the most attractive and well designed body and want to change it?It`s like taking a nice house and turning it into a shack,IMO.
I like the 88/98 body style and 67/72 body styles.I like bananas and I like spaghetti, just not together.

Why not just buy an 88-91 body style, instead of ruining another 67-72 body style.. I would never understand.

I don't like alternate grills, alternate beds or whatnot...the beauty of these trucks should never be compromised to the point they lose their identity.

Re: 89-91 Burb Grill on a 68 Chevy???

this was one of the most stylish truck bodies ever made. the lines of it are clean and well thought out. i understand if someone wants to put a late model bed on them, as decent swb beds of this era are sometimes hard to find (or too pricey) in certain areas, especially the rust belt. the wheel arches mess up the whole flow of the truck After you notice it. as long as no one points it out, you can get away with it, but once you know you'll never look at it the same again. no comment on the grille, if the owner keeps it a few years he'll likely regret the decision he made.
