Old Cars Trucks to be crushed October 9th

Yard in southern Missouri. Lots of old tin 40's, 50,s 60s. Photos on the site are only 1/2 of what is there, guy said he was going to post more next week. If you have any specific interest phone or email him, he is going there this weekend and will take detailed photos for you.

Looked like a 39 or 40 Lincoln in there too. And an old chevy panel delivery.

Re: Old Cars Trucks to be crushed October 9th

$1500 for the caddy? sounds like he wants to make some quick money and wants gold for rust.
He makes it sound as though he wants people to save them. If that was true I would think his price would be lower.
Im not saying its not worth that. But that caddy isnt going to bring him $1500 as scrap.
If he sold EVERY car and truck there at $500 he would make more than scrap price.

I hate to be negitive but I think its a gimmick to make a butt load of money.

ALSO I didnt see anything in very good shape.

It would be a shame to crush all those though.

Re: Old Cars Trucks to be crushed October 9th

I just called him , 1500 or so for the 59 dodge... I too am wondering what the deal?
he said the crusher knows that they are worth more than the scrap price... the sad thing is that at 1500 nobody will bite, and then it will get scrapped for 300 worth of steel.
sw missouri is probably 7-1500$ away from me, so for me $3000 would buy a much better car closer...

Re: Old Cars Trucks to be crushed October 9th

That really p*ss's me off that people are so greedy to have all this classic iron crushed! I wish I could save it all, if I had the cash I would buy the whole field and many others. I say all flags be flown at half mast on oct 10th, it going to be a shame for all that to get crushed. I know there are enough hot rodders and customizers around that would love to get there hands on some of those cars. sorry, rant over
