Small hump vs big hump
I did a fair amount of research on this before I started my BB conversion. It is my understanding that the small hump will work fine. I am using the same tranny (TH-350) and the same crossmember. I will know for sure in about two weeks when we get it all bolted up. I am pretty confident, however, that I will not need to change the hump.

The majority of the responses on this item say you will not need to change to a big hump. I have a small hump but at the moment I am not planning on a BB. You could always fab up some supports and move the engine forward with some electric fans if it doesnt work.

I have a 402 with a 700R4 and am using a turbo 350 cross member with a small hump. Plenty fo room.

Oh that kind of hump....LOL I thought a big block would fit with small or big hump myself.
