67 vs. 69 SWB frames
I think their the same, but before I make a mistake please tell me what you know....
I have a 67 right now, that I want to tear down to the frame..... I also have access to a 69...... If I tear the 69 down, clean it up and paint/powder coat it.....will ALL my 67 parts go right back on the 69 without hickup....no mods?? Are they the EXACT same....(minus the year, cause I know someone would say that) THANKS! Last edited by DrtyJack75; 10-11-2008 at 06:26 PM. |

Re: 67 vs. 69 SWB frames
And most 67's dont have the P.S. box indentation. Also the R.H. frame rail needs a small trim job for a BBC in a 67.

Re: 67 vs. 69 SWB frames
power steering is different if you had it on the 67...
brake lines might be a little different (power vs manual) emergency brake handle (might mean cables are different too) is one better than the other?

Re: 67 vs. 69 SWB frames
mine has power but I dont know if that was added later or original.....I know the box is brand new but then arent alot of other things on the truck!
I need to put derby driving on hold so I can build this truck! It kills me to go see it sitting in storage |
