Last Friday, me and my lady got in the old truck and went for a cruise up to Hyde Park and the Santa Fe Ski Basin to see the aspens changing colors. We had the camera so we decided to snap a few pics of the '62 since the mountains in the background were matching her...Enjoy!

Looks like a nice cruise, jchav. Cool pics. Its actually been fit for a human to be outside next door in the Valley, AZ. Finally!!!

Thanks for the compliments! It was a fun ride. My woman's truck is coming along slowly but surely. We've been going out there to Rowe every chance we get. The truck now has steering and brakes, and I've been getting the small stuff on the motor buttoned up. We tried starting up the 283 yesterday, but we were having issues with the starter binding up. Needs shimming, we think. Also, Lisa has sandblasted the inner fenders to get ready for her brother Fred to patch them. I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

She was a little lazy, but she ran good. It's a long way up there, and very chilly that day. The Chicano Bears wind-breaker I was wearing that day wasn't enough. We rode the ski lift to the top...what a scary ride! Call me a wuss, but I was holding on for dear life up there! We even stomped around in some snow hiking down from the top. It was a great day...we are very lucky to live here in Santa Fe with so much beauty and history right here in our backyard... And my beautiful lady to share it with!
