Took her to the shop for some tweaking...

new Skip White distributor installed, new plug wires, re-sealed and filled rear end.

Retuned as well.

Seems to pull a good bit harder on the butt dyno.

Two things:
1) The dizzy is LOUD. Sounds like a hissing sound of air leaking in the cab. Odd (my engine is STOCK, so its pretty quiet)
2) I now have a studder/jump when in D, and full on the brakes idling. It even died on me once. The mechanic said to bump up my idle on the carb. sounded like a semi-meh fix. Any thoughts?

Also, got my compression tested.

driver side, front to back:
120/130/120/130
Pass side:
115/120/105/110

Not bad for a 150k mile 35 year old engine.

Are you sure you didn't break or disconnect a vacuum line? I would check that out pretty close....

the hissing makes me think of the carb not being adjusted right
