Re: does anyone know how rare a 67 small window a/c cab is?
I've always wondered what the rarest 67 cab (or rarest cab period) would be. I would think the big window a/c is the rarest, but you don't see a lot of small window a/c cabs.
Jay Some of you may be thinking "Hey, a big window 67 is the same as a 68 cab" So, for 5 points? |

Re: does anyone know how rare a 67 small window a/c cab is?
I have seen several big window 67 AC cabs, but the only small window AC cab I have seen is the one I have below and it is a big hump cab also. I think the cab was originally on a 4x4 truck.

The ignition hole where the bezel goes is smaller on a 67 that on a 72.

I've never seen one in person...
My truck even has "deluxe heater" as the only option

Re: does anyone know how rare a 67 small window a/c cab is?
Like Jr said, we have one. During the build I wanted to convert the firewalll back to non a/c but Jr insisted we leave it alone, and I had the sawz-all all warmed up too.
A/C Doesn't come in handy here in NH since it's like 20 above in the mornings this time of year, but its probaly one to the few in the northeast for what that's worth.

These cabs are just like dirt.....they ain't makin' 'em anymore....
Day by day, each one of these trucks become the surviving examples.

Re: does anyone know how rare a 67 small window a/c cab is?
I used to have a 1967 short stepside truck that had the fewest options I have ever personally seen. The SPID listed only the base engine, the color (blue) and the padded dash that I believe was government mandated in 1967. The truck was both radio AND heater delete. This was probably the cheapest way that truck could be bought in 1967. Now, however with the aftermarket a/c and radio options, this could be really cool. Another of the ones I wish I had back. I did keep the radio and heater delete plates when I sold the truck. Not always stupid.
