Board member CG has one along with Classicheartbeat- Wes. CG might make you a deal. I'd drive it down as well!

Re: 67 Panel Truck
Looks like GM only made 4,805 of them... so best of luck, but they're out there.
The only one I've ever seen in person was at this years NC board meet, it was a 68. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=104816

Re: 67 Panel Truck
One of those was at Charlotte spring 2007.3/4 ton4X4 292 6 and 4 on the floor. The paint was so fresh you could smeel the solvent.I only saw it at night but it looked straight,so why did they paint it?
To the OP,finding a panel for a decent price is easier than finding a Tucker.I have actually located 6 over the last 25 years.I own or have owned 4 of those. The other 2 were in a locked fence but it was Sunday and I could not get back there. Most have been used and abused. They were built and sold as work/delivery trucks. Most often the owner was not the driver. Most were rode hard and put away wet. They rust in the same areass as the Pick-ups but the cab corners aren't there. In their place is 'Burb bedsides.I have seen a couple for sale on here but it's been a few months.Look to pay more than you would for a compareable pick up.The options are going to be slim to nearly none.I have never seen one with PS,PB,auto A/C (for the hired help haha.)and 4 of the 6 I have seen had radio delete. The passenger seat is listed as an option.Of the ones I have seen, none have had an original engine other than a 6.The others had later engines and were all sbc's.Heavy duty springs brakes and radiators have been the only other options I have seen on one.I'm just giving you some background to help determine how much is stock on the one you're looking at.Feel free to PM me if you have a specific question,I'll be glad to answer what I can. BTW I have never owned a 67-72 that was anything but a Panel.

Re: 67 Panel Truck
I don't know if you have to have a '67. There is a great looking '62 on craigslist here in Jacksonville, Fl. I wish I was done with my 72 C-10, cause it would be in my garage right now. Here's the link to if ya want to see it. http://jacksonville.craigslist.org/pts/891463967.html

That would be a neat project. There is a guy over on the HAMB that has a photoshopped version of one of those that he wants to build for his business. Its done in a 60's custom style with a chopped roof. |

Re: 67 Panel Truck
Here's a '68 Panel for sale in Craigslist in KS. It has been advertised for quite a while, apparently no takers.

Re: 67 Panel Truck
I saw one locally about 2 years ago, looked WAY worse than that blue one on craigs list. Had a gallon of filler on each side where the windows would be if it were a burb.... granted, it had a well tuned inline, but it soldfor $4500 bucks, and was a rotted turd.

Re: 67 Panel Truck
They are not so rare around here. My buddy found two within a years time...one cost only $800 and the other was $2300. Both were 3/4 ton. I have the springs from one of them on my 70.

Re: 67 Panel Truck
I spotted this one behind a shop in a bunch of junk cars in a rural town in central New Mexico.
It's not a 67 though. The last pictures is in the natural light, that's why the photos look grainy. s/t

Re: 67 Panel Truck
I looked for quite a while before I found mine. I saw plenty around for sale, but I was being pretty picky. I wanted a '67, but ended up with a '68. The guy I bought it from was in AZ, but he got it out of CA. Not enough rust to say there's any, and except for the right front fender, no evidence of bondo. I have since found a few little spots, like where someone fixed the holes where spotlights were once mounted. I paid 3500 and I feel like I got a good deal. I've seen many in worse shape that went for more. Mine didn't have the original motor, but it still had a six. And a passenger seat, but the seat is not listed on the spid, so it must have been added later. The only options on mine were HD front and rear springs and rv jr. mirrors.

Re: 67 Panel Truck
I would "settle" for a 60-66, I love the body style of those too. There is a yellow one of those running around town that is sweet.
But I would like to find a '67-'68 panel. I would shave the marker lights if it was a '68... guess I need to put the feelers out... Thanks guys! Don

Re: 67 Panel Truck
If you want, I can probably get the phone number to the guy that has the one in my picture. It's such a small town with only a gas station, a diner, hotel and this shop.
