New 72 blazer owner

Just got my truck, and the roof is not mounted to the windsheild frame at all is there some kind of hardware that hooks them together and answers and espoecially pictures would help and be greatly appreciated i searched the forum and couldn't anything the visors always covered the holes in the pics i found, Thanks

Welcome to the board. Post some pics of your rig when you get a chance.

The top is mounted to the windshield header in 4 points. On the outside corners, there are mounts through the Blazer specific sun visor mounts into the threaded insert in the top. There are two more mounts about 8 inches to each side of the center. They use a small "L" shaped piece of metal with screws into the top and the windshield frame.

Once the top is in place you'll also need to get some rain deflectors. They help deflect the rain from the drip rail on the windshield header from going down the door glass.

Yea i figured there was some kind of hardware there that i was missing i made some up outta some plate steel they work for now, I'll get pictures up as soon as i can, Thanks
