Window Rattle
Ok, I replaced my passenger side window regulator and I took the glass out of the door and it seperated from the l shaped piece that rides on the rollers and is on the bottom of the glass, well I took whatever that stuff is out of the glass holder and now my window rattles. What exactly is that so I know what to get to replace it.
Thanks in advance. |

Re: Window Rattle
it is a cork-like "tape" that holds the window in place. I believe you can get it from Classic parts of America
www.classicparts.com part # 70-723 for the door glass. Part 70-751 for the vent window glass Did you replace your inner/outer window sweeps? This is often the cause of window rattling. Last edited by leddzepp; 11-05-2008 at 06:38 PM. |

Re: Window Rattle
You can probably get the tape for the window channel from any glass shop. The above mentioned sweeps will be available from any BB vendor. There's a list on the home page.
