1971 gmc big block
Is a 1971 gmc big block rarer than a chevy has any one put 73 -87 saddle tanks on a 67-72

not sure but my 71 had a 396 from the factory and saddle tanks.....

a 71 would be a 402 regardless what the SPID says, chevy stopped making 396 engines at the end of the 69 model run.
GMC trucks were made in smaller numbers period. |

Yeah,a GMC with BBC would be more rare than a Chevy.There were about 20% GMCs to Chevy built and as you add lower number options you can get a pretty rare GMC.
