Sherm's Plating in Sac quoted me $2300. for the grill alone I had a plating shop in Bakersfield chrome my original grill, I had to send it back 3 times because it was full of buffing scratches. The third time they buffed clear through it (ruined). and $400 dollars down the tubes. Its hard to find a good plating shop at a decent price in Kaleeforneea.

They are die cast pieces and then chrome plated from GM. What I have is original GM stripped and then re-plated. Go look at the back side at all the rust, you'll know they are not stainless...

Here I was, all proud of myself for hand polishing my whole grill last weekend, and now you went and made it look bad again. Shame on you.

I got mine done for $600.00 But that was 5 years ago. I think it will cost a lot more then that now.

brand new ones cost 400.00 and i think thats everything included. from brothers catalog. here in arizona there are two shops that are the best in quality chrome shops my friends used them for there lowriders and trucks. a bit pricey by the look lost for words.
