[PROJECT] Laidout53
first off this isnt a chevy but though some of you might like to see it....
This is my 1953 dodge pickup that i built last winter in 6 months and drove all summer. Now its getting air bags, three link, raised bed and some interior stuff(sound deader,carpet,ect) Anways heres some before pictures........ Didnt get picture of the tear down but heres some of the notch install and lower links mocked up....

I can honestly say that is thing is sweet I don't think I have ever seen a Dodge truck like that laid out. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Looking sweet!
I remember way back when (76-77) I had two of these, complete with running sixes and Fluid Drive tranny's.. Never even thought back then about what they could be. Can't wait to see yours progress.

Nice truck and fab skills! I have a thing for dodge trucks as well, maybe
cause they are not as popular, I always liked the 92-93 fully loaded reg cab short beds, but wouldnt mind to get my hands on one of this... 2wd, 2dr Mexican charger...now, that would be unique! cant register one here cuase of the safety/emission bulls***. |

Well got the frame plates all welded and got the upper wishbone tacked together today. tommorrow ill try to get the bags mounted....
