'68 C20 lift

Newbie here, I know this is a suspension topic and I am probably not the first to ask this question, but where in the heck do you find information on lifting a 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive for a '68? I've searched high and low and have come up with barely anything. 4 wheel parts didnt return my call (go figure) and a local shop Mikes Off Road didnt have any answers.

All I want is another 2-3 inches, do I just do the add-a-leaf approach for the rear and go with bigger coil springs up front? I dont really want to do a body lift because of looks but maybe somebody can sway my opinion.

I was just hoping somebody else out there who sees this has been through this same deal and can steer me in the right direction. Thanks!

Re: '68 C20 lift

easier in rear , with add a leaf or blocks, fronts , I would go with rancho springs, they are actually called lifting coils and they claim it will raise 2 inches, I got 3 1/2 inches, noticeable difference . tis is a photo of after coils installed, I got 18" tires and they no longer rub over bumps. good luck

Re: '68 C20 lift

Thanks hvychve! with that setup it should also provide me a more level look if I can get around 3" up front and then another 2" in the back with the add-a-leafs. Plus new shocks should help a ton. I'll start hunting around for parts and be sure to post some before and after pics. with these upgrades the overall ride should be a lot better too.
