Window tint removal

I have a blazer top with old style window tint on it. Is there an easier way to remove it besides scraping? Help me out here Thanks.

Re: Window tint removal

I spray it with 409, then cover it with clear plastic making sure there are no wrinkles or bubbles then let it sit in the sun. This softens up the film and it will just sheet of. The residue can be tricky but with a little sun and some more 409 it comes off.

Re: Window tint removal

Just pull the film off and then use a razor blade and some windex for the glue

Ammonia in the Windex is what softens the glue ... to soften the glue faster, use an ammonia / water mix ... 50 / 50 dilute rate

Soap and water mixture and it will work like a charm.
