Smile 67-72 stepside

I recently bought a 1971 stepside 4x4 that is is great condition. It currently has a Chevy 350 and a rebuilt automatic trans. I am considering installing a 4'' lift and 33'' tires. Does any one else have stepside with this combo or just suggestions or advice. (type of lift, shocks, tires, blocks/rear leafs) Thanks

A 4" and 33's will work fine. Blocks are ok in the rear if you dont go over 4 inches. Lots of tires out there to choose from. Depends on what ya are going to be doing with your truck.

I put a 2 inch tuff country block rear, new spring front on mine. Have 33 x 12.50's on it. I know its not a 4 inch like you asked but just letting you know. Good luck and WELCOME Randy

Thanks guys for the input. Any info is great since i am new at the whole truck thing. I will be some on- road driving to school and around town but also off- roading in mild rocks and trails.
